Background History

Mathematics Department was established in Mandalar College in 2012. Mandalar College from 2012 to 2013 Dr. War War Myint, the first head of the Department of Mathematics. The lecturer was given responsibility from 2013 to 2016, U Aye Naing was the dean of Mandalar Degree College. The Professor was given responsibility from 2016 to 2017, Dr. Tin Tin Aye was the dean of Mandalar Degree College. The Professor was given responsibility from 2017 to 2021, Dr. Thet Khaing was the dean of Mandalar Degree College. Dr. Yin Min Aye, the Professor has taken, the Head of Department of Mathematics, Mandalar University from 2021 until today.

Vision

Department of Mathematics at Mandalar University aims to provide students with the ability to work systematically through teaching and learning mathematics. Problems solving ability, it is expected that the ability to judge right and wrong will be improved and the country will produce well-educated person.

Mission

Mandalar University, Mathematics Department helps students who learn mathematics to know the concepts of mathematical philosophy and how to use them in daily life, learn to think logically and correctly. To build self-confidence, not only learn to think in a self-relevant way but also learn the basics of mathematics so that they can see the inconsistencies in other people’s thinking.

The teachers of Mathematics Department aims to produce quality and well-disciplined students. Teachers achieve to high standards of excellence in the creation and dissemination of quality mathematical knowledge.
