The Department came into existence soon after the Mandalar College was established in 1st December 2012. Mandalar College was promoted into Mandalar Degree College in 22nd, March 2016. Zoology Department is situated in Inwa building. This is the department where students can study the animal kingdom, including the Anatomy, Physiology, Morphology, Taxonomy, Genetics, Immunology, Ecology, Evolution, Zoogeography, Embryology, Toxicology, Microbiology and Palaeontology. There are 21 staffs at the Department of Zoology. B. Sc (Zoology), B. Sc (Hons:) Zoology will be conferred.
